About Dee

Hot kisses. Cold cases. Ghosts with sass.

Amazon bestselling and multi-award-winning author Dee Armstrong writes private investigator mysteries and romantic suspense with a paranormal twist.

The author of the Twin Springs Trilogy and the HAUNTED: A JD Wolfe Investigations Series, Dee introduced private investigator JD Wolfe in Haunted by a Broken Oath. The novel reached #13 on Amazon’s Free Best Sellers list and #1 in Private Investigator Mysteries, Women Sleuths, and Ghost Suspense. It was also named Second Runner-Up for the Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Award for Best Supernatural and a Claymore Award Top Pick, and received a five-star review from Readers’ Favorite.

Accompanied by a meddling ghost who has haunted her since childhood, JD Wolfe has an extraordinary ability to find the lost. Her next investigation, Haunted by a Broken Heart, arrives winter 2027.

Dee’s work has been praised by Kirkus Reviews and endorsed by bestselling authors DP Lyle, Kathleen Baldwin, and Kathleen Antrim, with writing described as blazing brilliant, gut-gripping, and unforgettable.

A former U.S. Air Force Russian linguist and three-time Taekwondo Black Belt National Sparring Champion, Dee believes the vulnerable should be protected and justice must be fierce—because the past never stays buried, and the truth never dies.

When she’s not writing about danger and desire, Dee is chasing after her littles, sipping tea on the porch, and plotting against the weeds in her garden.
